I grew up in a small town – Lindsay, Ontario – in what I believe is the best country in the world to live in – Canada.
I’m the publisher of The Lindsay Advocate, a social purpose news site focused on the social and economic wellness of the town. Lindsay is especially in the spotlight right now because it is one of three places in Ontario chosen for a basic income pilot project, beginning in the fall of 2017 and lasting for three years. Visit The Lindsay Advocate to learn more.
I am the author of five books and also founded Fireside Publishing House, to launch a young Prime Ministers book series that has captured national media attention. My most recent book is about basic income.
I won a national newspaper award through the Canadian Community of Newspapers and two independent publisher awards for my novels on John A. Macdonald and John Diefenbaker.
I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing former Prime Ministers of Canada, Cabinet Ministers, Senators, and Mayors across Canada and my work has appeared in the Globe and Mail, National Post and Toronto Star.
